Rock FM and Best FM

A successful installation of the broadcast automation system Digispot ® II took place in the studios at the radio stations Rock FM Best FM in July this year in Moscow. This was a continuation of cooperation with the Multimedia Holding, after a software installation at RU.FM in 2010.

A successful installation of the broadcast automation system Digispot ® II took place in the studios at the radio stations Rock FM Best FM in July this year in Moscow. This was a continuation of cooperation with the Multimedia Holding, after a software installation at RU.FM in 2010.

Rock FM – is the only radio station in Moscow where the core of its playlists consists of the best pieces of world rock classics of the recent decades and the present time. Every day there are music and thematic programs on the air. A morning show ‘Drive Time’ hosted by Evgeni Shtolz runs daily. Since 2009, there is an author programme by a guru of Russian rock Boris Grebenshikov on the air.

The other station, Best FM, broadcast hits of the recent decades from around the world, as well as classics from the middle of 20th century. This is a time-honored music, music for people with good musical taste, and it fits well into the rhythms of modern life.

The installation of Digispot ® II took place in a short period of time. Before the installation, both radio stations broadcast via the automation system RCS. During installation, the music database has been exported from the RCS while retaining their layout. PowerGold is used as the musical rotator. The integration of PowerGold and Digispot ® II was conducted by means of a special plug-in, thanks to which advertising is loaded directly into PowerGold, so that the music editor can plan the schedule more accurately.
Digispot® II DJinn Broadcast is installed at workplaces in both studios; on the live air and reserve computers.
